Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming shopping experience upon entry and exit.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and appealing sales floor and checkout area.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience and professionalism.
- Replenish merchandise and keep displays fully stocked.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new POS systems quickly.
