Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks with precision and artistry
- Engage customers with product knowledge and friendly service
- Manage online orders and remote scheduling coordination
- Maintain pristine cafe hygiene and inventory control
- Train remotely on new brewing techniques and POS systems
- Collaborate with roasters on seasonal menu development
- Support community events via flexible remote coordination
Qualifications
- 1+ years coffee shop experience or equivalent training
- Proficiency with espresso machines and manual brewing
- Strong remote communication skills (Slack/Zoom)
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Passion for sustainable coffee practices
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
