Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems and error correction techniques
- Collaborate with engineers to prototype quantum computing solutions for real-world challenges
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to intellectual property development
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry trends
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing integration into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum hardware architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
