Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing AI/ML pipelines
- Research and prototype next-generation quantum hardware interfaces
- Document quantum system specifications and create technical roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing with hands-on experience in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry applications
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket, or Azure Quantum)
- Experience leading technical projects in agile environments
