Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics, finance, and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Lead quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for industrial-scale applications
- Interface with clients to translate complex quantum requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development for practical applications
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry breakthroughs
- Excellent communication skills for translating quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
