Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and AI acceleration
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures compatible with NISQ hardware
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC systems
- Research post-quantum cryptographic standards for 2026 compliance
- Create performance benchmarks for quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford quantum research labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Familiarity with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance preferred for DoD quantum projects
