You'll directly contribute to solving previously unsolvable problems in cryptography, materials science, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with fault-tolerance mechanisms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit connectivity standards
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum encryption systems
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum advantage applications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
