Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum circuit architectures for complex computational problems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quantum error correction protocols
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware platforms and software frameworks
- Develop performance optimization strategies for quantum algorithms
- Document technical specifications and create implementation roadmaps
- Present quantum computing solutions to C-suite executives and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulators
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain one
