Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with fault-tolerant qubit configurations
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times and error correction
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation communication networks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and system design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cryptography and quantum-resistant security frameworks
