Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Partner with hardware teams to translate algorithms to physical systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- Expertise in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (Quil, Q#)
- Understanding of NISQ-era constraints and error mitigation
