Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for real-world problem-solving
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate algorithmic requirements into physical implementations
- Author groundbreaking research papers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Experience with quantum hardware simulators and cloud quantum platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working implementations
