Responsibilities
- Architect quantum neural networks with fault-tolerant qubit configurations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-time data processing
- Lead integration of quantum sensors with AI decision-making systems
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into functional prototypes
- Document quantum system architectures for patent applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and low-level quantum gate manipulation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor interfaces
- Understanding of topological qubit stabilization techniques
- Security clearance eligibility for government research partnerships
