Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-classical hybrid AI architectures for real-world applications
- Develop novel error mitigation protocols for quantum neural networks
- Create quantum machine learning algorithms optimized for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial solutions
- Author patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-AI accelerators
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical excellence across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and their practical limitations
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and classical AI optimization
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and statistical modeling
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
