Responsibilities
- Safely walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our app
- Administer basic medications (training provided)
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during walks
- Build rapport with dogs and their owners
- Handle unexpected situations calmly (e.g., weather changes, dog behavior)
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Proof of negative TB test within 12 months
- Ability to walk 3+ miles daily in SF's hilly terrain
- Experience with large/giant breeds preferred
- Flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Smartphone proficiency for our scheduling app
- Strong communication skills in English
- Passion for animal welfare and safety
