Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control methods
- Provide real-time GPS tracking and photo updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration) and monitor pets' health during walks
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication through our digital platform
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures for animal handling
- Build long-term client relationships through reliable, consistent service
- Complete administrative tasks remotely (scheduling, invoicing, client correspondence)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience or equivalent pet care background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for multi-location walks
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality with remote scheduling flexibility
- Strong communication skills for client interactions via phone/email
- Ability to handle large or strong dogs (up to 80 lbs) safely
- Smartphone proficiency with mobile app navigation
- Must reside within San Francisco city limits for same-day availability
