Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Riverside neighborhoods using proper leash techniques
- Monitor pet behavior and provide detailed care reports to owners
- Administer basic medication if certified (optional training provided)
- Maintain strict schedule adherence and punctuality
- Ensure all pets are hydrated and comfortable during walks
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text
- Follow all safety protocols for weather/traffic conditions
- Clean and maintain equipment (leashes, waste bags, etc.)
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong physical ability to handle large dogs (up to 80 lbs)
- Trustworthiness and impeccable references required
- Availability for morning/evening shifts (5 AM-9 AM, 3 PM-8 PM)
- Basic knowledge of canine behavior and body language
- Experience with pet handling preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple pets
- Must pass background check and drug screening
