Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control methods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Monitor pets for health, behavior, and environmental safety during walks
- Maintain accurate records of services, mileage, and client communications
- Administer basic care as needed (water, waste cleanup, minor first aid)
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, medical restrictions)
- Participate in monthly virtual training sessions and team meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience or equivalent certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong physical fitness to handle active dogs in varying weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for our remote management system
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to client requests
- Ability to manage 4-6 dogs simultaneously without assistance
- Current tetanus vaccination and willingness to undergo background check
- Knowledge of Fresno's neighborhoods and pet-friendly routes
