Responsibilities
- Perform daily dog walks of varying lengths and intensities based on breed and energy levels.
- Administer medication and special dietary needs as instructed by pet owners.
- Ensure all waste is promptly and properly disposed of during walks.
- Monitor pet health and report any unusual behavior or injuries to the client immediately.
- Provide basic obedience training reinforcement during walks.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle for transport.
- Arrive on time at scheduled appointments to ensure pet safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, body language, and basic first aid.
- A positive, patient, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Must pass a background check and a temperament test with our dogs.
- Reliable smartphone access for real-time GPS tracking and communication.
