Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 1-3 dogs at a time in designated areas
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and fresh water as needed
- Maintain accurate pet care logs and owner communication
- Practice responsible pet handling and leash management
- Monitor pet health and behavior during outings
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Transport pets in secure, approved carriers when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Background check and clean driving record required
