Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in Jacksonville neighborhoods
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks
- Provide detailed post-walk reports to pet owners
- Maintain strict cleanliness and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets
- Adapt walking routes to dogs' energy levels and preferences
- Attend monthly training workshops to refine skills
Qualifications
- Must love dogs and experience handling various breeds
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Ability to work in Jacksonville's warm climate
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (provided during training)
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
