Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs individually or in small groups (max 4 dogs)
- Monitor pets for health/wellness and report concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication
- Provide basic training reinforcement during walks
- Administer medications if certified (CPR/First Aid required)
- Adapt routes to weather, pet needs, and client preferences
- Uphold strict safety protocols for pet and public safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to handle 2+ hour walks in varied terrain
- Availability weekdays (7am-7pm) and weekends
- Positive attitude and genuine love for all dog breeds
