Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 dogs per group)
- Provide attentive care during walks, including hydration and waste removal
- Administer basic medications as required with owner instructions
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each pet
- Transport pets to/from local parks and pet-friendly areas
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all animals and clients
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (SUV/van preferred for multiple dogs)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
