Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs (1-3 at a time) in designated Seattle neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup services
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates
- Adhere to safety protocols during all interactions
- Complete onboarding and pet-specific training
Qualifications
- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience handling dogs of various sizes and breeds
- Basic pet first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Availability for weekday mornings/evenings and weekends
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Ability to walk 5+ miles daily in varied weather conditions
