Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Provide timely bathroom breaks and exercise routines
- Administer basic medications as per client instructions
- Monitor pets' behavior and health during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client
- Transport pets to vet appointments or parks when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Clean background check and TB test clearance
- Basic pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent time management and reliability
