Responsibilities
- Provide safe and enjoyable walks for dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Administer basic pet care including feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks and report concerns
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication records
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build positive relationships with clients and their pets
- Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Strong physical ability to handle dogs in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Compassion for animals and patience with different temperaments
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication
- Willingness to complete paid training program (40 hours)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred (provided if not held)
