Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging walks and exercise for dogs of various sizes and breeds
- Administer basic care including feeding, medication, and potty breaks
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners
- Maintain detailed daily logs of activities and pet conditions
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming sessions
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Strong communication skills and client rapport
- Must pass comprehensive background check
