Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled walking routes on time, ensuring all dogs receive adequate exercise and fresh air.
- Monitor the health and well-being of every dog during visits, noting any changes in behavior or physical condition.
- Provide top-tier customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' daily activities.
- Ensure all waste is promptly and properly disposed of to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and leash handling standards at all times.
- Keep accurate records of feeding schedules, medication administration, and behavioral notes.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent care for multi-pet households.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to walk up to 2-3 miles daily in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, body language, and basic first aid.
- Exceptional time management skills and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pet temperament test.
- Must be comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including those with mild behavioral challenges.
