Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated San Diego neighborhoods while maintaining control
- Provide basic care including hydration, potty breaks, and playtime
- Track and report each dog's activity via our mobile app
- Clean up after pets and maintain equipment hygiene
- Follow owner-specific care instructions for each dog
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
- Adapt walks to weather conditions and dog energy levels
Qualifications
- Proven experience handling dogs of various sizes and breeds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Ability to walk up to 4 dogs simultaneously (training provided)
- Strong understanding of dog body language and behavior
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Must pass background check and pet first-aid certification
- Ability to work in varying San Diego weather conditions
