Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods and parks
- Monitor dog behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Maintain strict adherence to client care instructions
- Clean and maintain provided equipment after each walk
- Track walk duration and conditions via mobile app
- Provide photo/video updates to pet owners
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Reliable transportation within Pittsburgh metro area
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
