Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using provided professional equipment
- Monitor pets for health/wellness and report concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client's pet
- Administer basic care (hydration, gentle commands) during outings
- Ensure clean, safe routes and responsible waste disposal
- Build trust with pets through consistent positive interactions
- Communicate professionally with pet parents via app/updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs in all weather
- Knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Clear background check and animal handling references required
