Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Monitor dog behavior and health during walks and outings
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walk times, conditions, and observations
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as per client instructions
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Available for early morning (6-9 AM) and evening (4-7 PM) shifts
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
