Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling and control techniques
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime as specified by pet owners
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks, including duration, behavior notes, and incident reports
- Transport pets to/from designated locations using company-provided vehicles
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding pet well-being and service updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all interactions with animals and during transportation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate pet safety restraints
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Exceptional time management and reliability with punctual service delivery
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
