Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (max 4 dogs per walker)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and leash laws in Columbus parks
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup) during walks
- Build trust relationships with clients and their beloved pets
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if transporting pets)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to walk in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Patience and genuine love for dogs of all breeds/sizes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Willingness to complete background check and pet safety training
