Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs simultaneously in designated DC neighborhoods
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication, waste cleanup)
- Maintain detailed client records and schedule updates via our mobile app
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Adhere to all DC leash laws and safety protocols
- Transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet first aid and behavior
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for transport duties)
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and smartphone proficiency
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
