Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed daily logs of pet behavior and activities
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about their dogs' wellbeing
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company vehicles
- Manage multiple dogs simultaneously while ensuring individual attention
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Reliable transportation and smartphone for communication
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability for flexible weekday/evening/weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
