Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential neighborhoods and designated parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate visit logs and client communication
- Practice leash handling and basic obedience reinforcement
- Clean up waste and maintain clean equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols during all outings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior and handling
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs comfortably
- Strong time management and reliability
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Love for animals and patience with different breeds
