Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in Jacksonville neighborhoods and parks
- Monitor pet health, behavior, and environmental conditions during outings
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication via our app
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming facilities as needed
- Adapt to diverse client schedules and pet temperaments
- Participate in weekly team meetings and continuing education
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with pet-friendly equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Background check and drug screen required
