Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods
- Administer medication and monitor pet health during walks
- Maintain detailed digital activity logs for each pet
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our app
- Practice emergency protocols and basic pet first aid
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication
- Participate in weekend and holiday pet care rotations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based reporting
- Must pass comprehensive background check
