Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 per group) using proper leash techniques
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, reporting any concerns
- Maintain detailed daily logs of walks, waste cleanup, and client interactions
- Administer basic care (medication, water) as per client instructions
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app
- Transport pets in company vehicles when required for group walks
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and handling techniques
- Reliable transportation to assigned routes
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Available weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends
- CPR/First-Aid certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
