Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable leash walks for dogs in residential and park settings
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup) during visits
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed client records and scheduling via our mobile app
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments or grooming as needed
- Practice positive reinforcement training techniques during walks
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all pets and property
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4) with control
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor activity in various weather
- Background check and clean driving record required
