Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in Bakersfield parks and residential areas
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming sessions
- Administer first aid for minor injuries
- Build rapport with pet owners through regular updates
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic pet first aid certification (provided)
- Ability to handle large dogs (up to 80 lbs)
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Love for animals and physical stamina
