Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Provide timely waste cleanup and maintain clean walking routes
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Administer basic care (water, treats) as per client instructions
- Update pet owners with photo/video updates and daily activity logs
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and client preferences
- Build positive relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care or dog walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk dogs of various sizes (up to 80 lbs)
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Availability weekdays and weekends with flexible scheduling
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Must pass background check and drug screening
