Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group) using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app during each walk
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, medication reminders) per owner instructions
- Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports for each client
- Transport pets to vet appointments or daycare using company-provided vehicles
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during extreme weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience (boarding/daycare/walking)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Strong physical fitness to handle active dogs in varied terrain
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Must pass background check and drug screening
