Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups while maintaining control and comfort
- Monitor pets for health and behavioral changes during walks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our app
- Clean up pet waste responsibly and maintain walk areas
- Adapt walking routes based on weather, pet needs, and owner preferences
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company-provided vehicles
- Document walk details accurately in our digital system
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Reliable smartphone with data plan and photography skills
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
