Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Chandler neighborhoods and parks
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and owner communication via mobile app
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling animals and managing unpredictable situations
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming services when required
- Perform basic home security checks during pet visits
- Uphold exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards for equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation with pet-friendly vehicle
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Background check and drug screening required
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
