Responsibilities
- Safely walk 3-5 dogs simultaneously on urban and trail routes
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app
- Administer basic medications and first aid when certified
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and behavior notes
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming sessions
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Build rapport with clients through exceptional communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and passion for animal welfare
- Background check required
