Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-3 per group) in designated Baltimore neighborhoods
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor pets' health during outings
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our mobile app
- Maintain detailed activity logs and behavior notes for each client
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during inclement weather or high-traffic areas
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming services as needed
- Build long-term relationships with pets and their owners through personalized care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle (for multi-location services)
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Strong time management skills with punctuality for all scheduled walks
- Ability to lift pets up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods in various weather
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with smartphone apps
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
