Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and fresh water as per owner instructions
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, feeding times, and observations
- Communicate professionally with clients via text/email updates
- Ensure pet safety through proper handling and environmental awareness
- Clean up after pets and maintain equipment hygiene
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to walk dogs of various sizes (up to 80 lbs)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Availability for weekday/weekend mornings/evenings
- Background check and clean driving record required
