Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication if certified)
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments (when required)
- Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trustful relationships with pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Clear communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
