Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Administer medication and monitor pet health during walks
- Provide detailed activity reports and photo updates to pet owners
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and safe walking routes
- Build trust-based relationships with clients and their pets
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Participate in weekend and holiday walking rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs with control and confidence
- Strong time management and reliability
- Passion for animal welfare and knowledge of breed-specific needs
